Join us on Wednesday, August 12, at the Yokoso Center in Columbus, Ohio, for an extraordinary evening celebrating the art of Ohara Ikebana.
We are honored to welcome Sub-Grand Master Jose Salcedo for a rare public demonstration featuring the beauty, movement, and seasonal expression of Ohara Ikebana, one of Japan’s most respected schools of floral art. Through a series of live arrangements, Jose-Sensei will share his artistic approach, technical mastery, and deep connection to the philosophy of the Ohara School.
Whether you are completely new to Ikebana or a longtime student of the art form, this special evening offers a unique opportunity to experience world-class Ikebana up close in an intimate setting.
Following the demonstration, guests are invited to enjoy a coffee and dessert reception, meet Jose-Sensei, and continue the evening in conversation with fellow flower enthusiasts and members of the Ikebana community.
A modest admission fee helps offset the cost of floral materials and event expenses.
