How do I sign up for an Ikebana class?

You can register for upcoming classes directly through our Classes & Events page. Select the class and date you would like to attend and complete your registration online. Early registration is recommended, as class size may be limited.

What should I bring to class?

Please check the individual class listing for details, as materials vary by lesson. Flowers are generally provided, while students bring their own container, kenzan, and ikebana scissors when needed. If you're new to Ikebana and don't yet have the necessary equipment, contact us before class and we'll be happy to help.

Do I need prior experience to join?

No! Beginners are very welcome. Our classes include opportunities for people who are completely new to Ikebana as well as continuing students working through the Ohara School curriculum. Check the individual class description for any prerequisites.

Can I book a private class, group class, or demonstration?

Yes! We offer private and group Ikebana classes, demonstrations, lectures, and programs for community organizations, schools, cultural groups, and other events. Contact JoeRotella@OharaIkebanaColumbus.com to discuss what you're planning.

How long does shipping take?

Most in-stock items are shipped within a few business days. Delivery time varies depending on the destination and shipping service. Tracking information will be provided when available.

What is your return policy?

Unused items in their original condition and packaging may be returned if you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Customers are responsible for return shipping, and a 20% restocking and order-processing fee applies. Some items, including perishable, custom, and sale items, are not eligible for return.
